My Recommended Products
Hello and welcome!
I am Michael Berlin, a guy in his mid-20s from Brooklyn, New York.

I have been an alkaline vegan, detox-advocate, and proponent of the Dr. Sebi Healing Method for over four years now.

If you read the other guides on this site, then welcome to the recommended products section!
If not, I recommend at least checking out the Diet Guide and Herb Guide first!
Today, I want to share with you a list of products related to the Dr. Sebi Healing Method that have seriously helped me transform my life.
I have already mentioned these products in the Diet Guide and Herb Guide, but I also wanted to put them all on one page for convenience sake.

As I said before in other places on the site, each item on this list comes from a supplier that I have personally bought from in the past and would recommend most out of all known online sources.

From personal experience, I found that at least some trial-and-error mistakes are inevitable when trying to find the best products online. Thankfully, I have compiled this list over the years so you don’t have to go through the same stumbling blocks as I did!

These products have been extremely powerful tools in my detox journey, so I hope they could serve the same for you, too!
Water Distiller
Although Dr. Sebi ideally recommends naturally-alkaline, unfluoridated spring water or geothermal water, these types of waters are often unavailable or unaffordable for many people.

For most people who live in urban areas, a water distiller is the only affordable way to acquire safe drinking water, period.

I have used the Megahome Water Distiller every day for years now.

The electricity cost necessary to produce 1 gallon of distilled water comes out in the range of 25-35 cents per gallon, which is much, much cheaper compared to buying a gallon of distilled water from the store, which could cost around $3-$5 per gallon depending on where you live.

Simply the act of drinking only distilled water clears out calcified and inorganic mineral deposits in the body.

Once you drink only distilled water for even a few days, you will start to notice that tap water will feel “heavy” and will start to have an unpleasant undertaste.

The reason why will become obvious to you once you smell the fluoride and inorganic mineral deposits left behind at the bottom of the water tank after a cycle of distillation. The smell left behind from the supposedly “clean” water we drink every day will leave you speechless!
That being said, here is my recommended water distiller:

Juicer
One of the recommendations Dr. Sebi gave was to fast with either juice or water while taking the Dr. Sebi-recommended healing herbs. This fasting can be done either periodically, such as in the case of intermittent fasting, or for an extended period of time up to 40 days, which is how Dr. Sebi himself cured his lifelong asthma, erectile dysfunction, obestity, depression, and poor eyesight.

For this reason, a juicer will likely be a very helpful tool for those who want to take on either of these types of fasts.

There are multiple benefits to juicing. Although juicing is not absolutely necessary to reversing disease and fully eliminating the chronic inflammation in our bodies, it is nonetheless a great tool for multiple reasons.

The first reason is because a juicer will extract almost all of the nourishing life substances (vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes, phytonutrients, etc.) in a fruit without eating the fruit fibers themselves. The fibers of fruit act like a cleaning broom for our digestive system. As they move through our intestines, the fibers scrub away accumulated toxins built up on the walls of the intestine. At the same time, the fruit fibers add more to the volume of work that the digestive system has to perform. This is what I mean: if you want the nutrition of 10 apples, you can eat 10 apples, but then the body’s resources would be more focused on digesting these 10 apples rather than using these bodily resources for healing. Thus, by eliminating fruit fibers, we limit the volume of food we take in, which gives our body more space to devote to healing every day.

The second reason is because, while fruit juice allows us to minimize the amount of food we eat, juice, at the same time, allows us to maximize the amount of nourishment we receive from the life substances in fruit. If you wanted to eat 10 apples, it would nourish you, but it would also take away from the body’s healing processes. However, getting the nutrition from 10 apples is easy when you have a juicer.

The third reason is because it helps to control cravings when liquid fasting or detoxing. Our bodies are not used to taking herb as an energy source, so if a person decides to liquid fast on Dr. Sebi herbs, there will be times where cravings for food pop up. By having a juicer, we can somewhat satisfy these cravings by giving our body an energy source that it is more accustomed to digesting.

I have been juicing with the Breville JE98XL Juicer for years. Along with my water distiller, this juicer has been a very reliable and powerful tool in my life for a very long time.

The price point may be steep for some. One can buy a cheaper juicer for around $100, but I have often heard complaints that these cheaper juicers either 1) do a poor job at extracting all the juices from the fruit, or 2) stop working for no reason after some time. Judging from what I heard from others, it seems you really do get what you pay for in this case.
That being said, here is my recommended juicer:

Dr. Sebi Herbs
This is a list of herbs Dr. Sebi recommended and publicized before his death.

It should be noted that this is not a comprehensive list of all the Dr. Sebi herbs. Dr. Sebi researched hundreds, if not thousands, of herbs in his 40+ years of herbalism, so it would be near impossible to create a full list of Dr. Sebi herbs.

However, the herbs on this list are those that Dr. Sebi spoke of most highly and most frequently because of 1) their potency, 2) their accessibility to a wide audience, and 3) their affordability.

In other words, these are the herbs that you will most commonly find Dr. Sebi mentioning and recommending throughout his video lectures.

I have used every herb on this list throughout my detox journey on a daily- or semi-daily basis with amazing results.

Each herb on this list comes from a supplier that I have personally bought from in the past and would recommend most out of all my known online sources.

From personal experience, I found that at least some trial-and-error mistakes are inevitable when trying to find the best herbal products online. Thankfully, I have compiled this list over the years so you don’t have to go through the same stumbling blocks as I did!

Sweet Flavors
What’s one of the biggest killers in America and the whole world? Sugar!

Specifically, this type of disease-causing sugar comes from the sugar cane plant. Whether white or brown, organic or GMO, refined or not, this type of sugar is always highly acidic, mucus-forming, and will contribute to chronic disease.

However, the sugars from alkalizing, non-hybrid fruits and plants that are symbiotic with the human genome are nourishing and are the human body’s main source of energy.

Fruits are sweet because they contain these healthy sugars, but most fruits are not the best sugar substitutes to bake or cook a sweet dish.

That is why, for baking or cooking, Dr. Sebi recommends either date sugar (because of its very concentrated sweetness) or agave sugar from the agave cactus.

Unlike other refined sugar substitutes which often have an imposing taste, date sugar and agave sugar are very neutral in taste but are as sweet as can be! And instead of contributing to greater acidity and diease in the body like other sugar substitutes, these natural sugars are 1) easy to digest, 2) alkalize the body, and 3) provide plenty of energy throughout the day.

I have tried both of these awesome sugar substitutes in cookies, breads, or just drizzled on top of any dish that could use a bit more sweet flavor.

That being said, here are my recommended sources for sweet flavors:

Dr. Sebi Grains
After following the Dr. Sebi Food List for over four years, I have become quite acquainted with all of the foods on the list, especially many of the uncommon grains on the list.

Many of the uncommon grains mentioned on the Dr. Sebi Food List such as amaranth, kamut, spelt, tef, etc. can be bought as pastas, breads, or cooking flours.

I, myself, am a big fan of pasta, so I personally love that these options are available to those who want to alkalize their bodies but still want something tasty from time to time.

My favorite pasta variant is kamut, but I have also tried amaranth, spelt, tef, fonio, and rye, and they are all amazing! When I eat these grains as pastas or cooking flours, I don’t get the same heavy, dying feeling like I used to get from eating crappy wheat pasta.

Here is another reason why I love the option of Dr. Sebi grains as pastas, breads, or cooking flours. Although we want to cure disease and heal our bodies, it may be difficult to give up all the foods we love at once. For this reason, many people will simply abandon their diet plans because the transition is too hard to make at first. This is why I recommend these grains as pastas, breads, and cooking flours. Many people do not know about these options, but they are powerful when making the transition to an alkaline diet. These grains taste similar to the pasta, bread, and flour that we make from wheat, but instead of producing more acidity and excess mucus in our bodies, these grains alkalize, nourish, and remove excess mucus from the digestive system and mucus membrane.

When I first began the Dr. Sebi diet, it was difficult for me to choose where to buy some of the less common foods on the Dr. Sebi Food List out of all available online sources. Over the years, however, I used trial-and-error to compile the best online sources I could find!

In making my source recommendations, I take into account both the quality of the food as well as the price (some people overcharge for this stuff like crazy). I take both of these factors into account so that you can save yourself the trouble of getting ripped off (like I did before, haha)!
That being said, here is my recommended list of Dr. Sebi grains available as pastas, breads, and cooking flours!
